Treat everyone at Apart Lab with respect. While we encourage vigorous discussion, critical thinking, and constructive feedback at any time, we will not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or mistreatment (see Unacceptable Behaviors).
Be honest in your dealings and communications. The aim is to foster innovation and learning, not to deceive or game the system.
Research is a team sport. Share ideas, provide constructive feedback, and remember that the best solutions result from the synergy of diverse perspectives.
If you experience or witness any behavior that violates this Code of Conduct, please report it immediately to an Apart team member or use our anonymous reporting form. All reports will be handled confidentially.
Failure to comply with this Code of Conduct may result in your removal from the Apart Lab, banning from future events, Studio participation, fellowships, or research collaborations organized by Apart Research, and/or reporting to local authorities.
Apart Research is committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment. We will support the enforcement of this Code of Conduct through monitoring, as well as by providing mechanisms for reporting and response. Apart Research, however, cannot be held liable for any infringement on the part of Apart Lab members of this Code of Conduct or other local, national or international laws.
Everyone at Apart shall comply with all applicable laws and regulations. In the event that there are differences between laws and regulations and the standards set out in the Code of Conduct, the highest standards consistent with applicable local laws shall be applied.
This Code of Conduct may be revised at any time by the Apart Research team and becomes binding upon all Apart Lab members after written announcement of the updates via Discord or e-mail.
